Ultimate Transformer Bumblebee – Hot Xmas Toy

Friday, October 30th, 2009

There’s a very high chance that your kid will want the

Ultimate Transformer Bumblebee from Hasbro this christmas

and afterwards.

It is destined to be one of the hottest selling action

figures due to the release of the movie “Transformers” this

past summer.

With the push of a button, you can transform this yellow

Camaro into a 14 inch robot which raises it’s arms and

makes some cool sounds.

For a kids toy, this robot is amazingly well crafted and

detailed. It has the touch of quality. Not only can it

transform but the robot also has an animated head, wings

and arms.

When it transforms back into a Camaro, the Ultimate

Transformer Bumblebee can make realistic car sounds such as

engine revving, screeching brakes, car alarm, horn and

crashing.

The Ultimate Transformer Bumblebee can also spout out 17

cool phrases such as “Let’s roll out!” and “Take that

Decepticon!”.

There’s no doubt after having a close look at this toy that

it’s durable and quality crafted. That’s important because

you don’t want something that will break after a week of

rough play.

If you’re going to pick up an Ultimate Transformer

Bumblebee then your best options are Walmart or online.

Since these are such hot toys this Christmas many stores

are having trouble keeping them in stock.

If you can’t find them in the stores then eBay always has

these robots for sale. If you’re afraid of auctions, don’t

be. eBay has a feature called “Buy it Now” where you can

just click and pay for it without bidding against others.

Sharon Albright owns and operates an online store which

Transformer Devastator – Unmatched Strength

Monday, October 26th, 2009

Decepticon Transformer Devastator is built by the combination of

the Coinstructicons. This flawless combination of wrath gives

form to arguably the strongest Decepticon of them all. His only

objective is to annihilate anything and everything that stands

between him and his foe. In separated form, the six

Constructicons are quite intelligent in wide contrast to the brutality

that characterizes Devastator. This is because six Decepticon

minds try to agree on which moves Devastator should pull off

next at the same time. This gives Devastator his simple and brutish

personality of instinct, destroying everything in site before even

thinking about the consequences. One of his primary weaknesses

is that he’s lumbering and slow, making him an easy target to trip

over.

In the Marvel Comics edition of the Transformers the birth of the

Constructicons is rather straight forward. Decepticon

Commander Shockwave ordered the creation of six new

Decepticon beings which where given life by the Creation Matrix,

extracted from the then captured Optimus Prime. The

Constructicons were given life and no time was wasted. They

built a gigantic radio dish which Soundwave used as a

communications devise between Earth and Cybertron. The

Autobots tried to jam the giant disk, but they were defeated by

the Constructicons who combined into the all powerful

Devastator to get the job done with ease.

The Autobots where quite impressed with Devastator’s combining

ability, thus they attempted to imitate the creation of a similar

Transformer who could combine into a bigger and more powerful

being. However they were only able to make an Omega Supreme

made from the combination of three non sentient machines. This

drove the Autobots to lure Transformer Devastator out of the

Decepticon base and isolate him to gather more information about

his composition. When this was accomplished the Autobots could

at last create Superion who was made from the combination of

the new Aerialbots.

As opposed to the traditional cartoons and comics in the 2007

movie Transformer Devastator appears as an individual character

that transforms into a heavily armed tank. Although this

Decepticon was supposed to be Brawl, in the film it can clearly

be appreciated that he names himself Devastator. Further

confusion arises in the merchandise arena where he’s marketed as

Brawl. The movie writers confess that this was an error and that it

was intended for him to be Brawl in the movie. On the other

hand, Michael Bay insists that Devastator was a much more

suitable and stronger name for the insanely tough Decepticon.

Michael Black is proud to be a huge Transformers fan who’s written many articles about these fascinating fictional robot machines. You can check out more about Transformer Devastator in his Transformer Decepticons website.

How Does High Voltage Transformer Works?

Monday, October 26th, 2009

You can come across many different kinds of voltage transformers. In case of high voltage transformer, it works with high voltages. In general, these voltage transformers are used in power moving tools, where voltage are high sufficient to present a safety exposure. Microwave is the best example where high voltage transformer is used in household products. It is identified that high voltage transformer are the muscle of any microwave oven. With an input of 120 VAC (or 240 VAC in many of the commercial models) applied to the initial windings, the step-up transformer move up the initial voltage to extremely high voltage. It is then the high voltage is boosted even higher by the voltage-doubling action of the capacitor and as well with the diode.

You can confirm and there is actually no widely agreed definition for a high voltage transformer, even though some industry principles do spell out a variety of minimum voltages. These definitions are usually based on security considerations or the voltage where arcing would occur. It would be expedient if high voltage transformer was, widely accepted to begin at a good round number. Instead, it is seen that voltages as low as 5V recognized to as high voltage, in according to the Bonneville Power Administration, to be measured high voltage, it requires to be 100kV or above.

High voltage transformers are generated to manage with high amounts of electrical energy in the range of 600 to 5,000 volts, even though custom voltage transformers are on hand as well. A kind of device transformer, high voltage transformers are usually used for metering and security in high-voltage circuits and in electrostatic industrial and other technical applications. Because they have the capability to step up initial voltage to an extremely high voltage, they are frequently as well referred to as a power transformer.

Due to the high voltage and frequency that it has to manage, a high voltage transformer has appreciably different core geometry, winding methods, and padding techniques those ordinary transformers. For example, elements such as the volts/turn ratings of the secondary wire, insulating material dissipation, and other corona level should be considered carefully.

The Power of the Transformer

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

The transformer is one of the most useful of all pieces of electrical equipment, and one of the most vital to the power industry. The most often seen type of transformer is known as a three phase pole mounted step down transformer, and this type of transformer is an electrical device used to transfer energy from one circuit to another through the process of magnetic coupling. In order for this energy transfer to take place, no relative motion of the transformer parts is necessary. In addition, transformers are often used to convert energy from high voltage to low voltage, to change the impedance or to provide for electric isolation between the circuits.

The transformer is an essential part of the power grid and the transmission of power, and the transformer is able to provide for an economical way of transmitting power over the long distances needed in today’s world. In fact, it was the transformer that was largely responsible for power generating companies choosing alternating current for energy generation.

One of the earliest experiments in developing telephone used a device called an audio frequency transformer. This device, which at the time was called a repeating coil, played an instrumental role in the development of the telephone. In today’s world the audio frequency transformer has largely been replaced by other technology, but it these transformers are still used in some electronics.

The device we know as a transformer can be virtually any size, from the thumbnail sized transformer inside a microphone to the huge units that are used by power generating companies to connect far flung parts of the power grid. No matter how big or how small, however, the transformer operates according to the same basic principles, using similar parts and similar technology.

Even though technology has changed quite a bit since the first transformers came onto the market, the transformer today remains an essential part of the power grid. When a transformer fails, many power customers are likely to be affected, and power companies work their hardest to keep their many transformers up and running 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

The power of the transformer has certainly improved our lives in a number of important ways, from heating our homes to lighting our way in the darkest night. Transformers and the power lines they connect to have allowed virtually every person in the country to enjoy a steady and reliable stream of electric power for their appliances and their lives.
